
14th Annual Veterans
Day Ceremony
Join us for the 14th annual Veterans Day ceremony in Grape Day Park in Escondido either in person or online. We will gather at the Wall of Courage for the singing of the national anthem and other performances. The highlight of our ceremony are the short stories from Veterans or family members of Veterans that guaranteed to make you laugh, cry or both.
COVID19 Guidelines:
The City of Escondido in conjunction with the County will allow us to hold this memorial service with the following precautions:
-All guests must wear a face mask
- All guests will remain 6 feet apart from others not in their household
-Seating be set up for social distancing
- Hand sanitizer will be available for all
-If you are in a high risk category or have any symptoms related to COVID19, we invite you to enjoy the ceremony from home.
Come honor Veterans in the the beautiful Grape Day Park next to City Hall. The Wall of Courage is a monument that honors Veterans, both living and not, with their names on tiles. It is cleaned bi-monthly by members of the VFW Post 1513. Seating will be provided but limited.

When: November 11 at 11am.
Seating: Provided but limited. You are welcome to bring your own chair.
Parking: Parking is available in the lot north of Grape Day Park behind the California Center for the Arts, accessible via Woodward Ave. Street parking is available as well.
