13th Annual Veterans

Day Ceremony

Join us for our annual Veterans Day ceremony in Grape Day Park in Escondido. We will gather at the Wall of Courage for patriotic performances. There will be short stories from Veterans and family members that are guaranteed to make you laugh, cry or both. 


We invite everyone to come honor all Veterans in the beautiful Grape Day Park next to City Hall. The Wall of Courage is a monument that honors veterans, both living and deceased and maintained by post 1513. More information can be found in the link below.

Where: Wall of Courage in Grape Day Park. 321 N. Broadway. Escondido, CA

When: November 11 at 11am.

Seating: Provided but limited. You are welcome to bring your own chair.

Parking: Parking is available in the lot north of Grape Day Park behind the California Center for the Arts, accessible via Woodward Ave. Street parking is available as well.

Details: Please keep in mind the parade on Grand will be finishing up around this time and may impact traffic. If you're traveling via freeway we recommend exiting off of the 78E and traveling south on Broadway, or exiting off at Centre City and traveling south on Centre City.

Unable to attend? You can still honor veterans by donating to our post. We are a volunteer run non-profit organization that dedicates our time to helping the veterans in our community.  All proceeds go to helping veterans in our community. Click on the yellow button above.
