Annual Veterans
Day Ceremony
Join us for our annual Veterans Day ceremony in Grape Day Park in Escondido. We will gather at the Wall of Courage for the singing of the national anthem and other performances. The highlight of our ceremony are the short stories from Veterans or family members of Veterans that guaranteed to make you laugh, cry or both.
Come honor Veterans in the the beautiful Grape Day Park next to City Hall. The Wall of Courage is a monument that honors Veterans, both living and not, with their names on tiles. It is cleaned bi-monthly by members of the VFW Post 1513. Seating will be provided but limited.

When: November 11 at 11am.
Seating: Provided but limited. You are welcome to bring your own chair.
Parking: Parking is available in the lot north of Grape Day Park behind the California Center for the Arts, accessible via Woodward Ave. Street parking is available as well.
Unable to attend? You can still honor veterans by donating to our post. We are a volunteer run non-profit organization that dedicates our time to helping the veterans in our community. All proceeds go to helping veterans in our community.
