Wall of Courage

Post 1513 takes pride in maintaining our Military Tribute and Wall of Courage Monument located at Grape Day Park. The names you see on this wall honors veterans of all eras. Twice a month we clean the space to ensure the space stays as a place of honor and respect.

Are you a part of a group that would like to join us in cleaning on one of our scheduled trips?  We provide cleaning supplies and a little history lesson on the meaning of the Military Tribute. Previously we have had middle school groups join us and they enjoyed the opportunity to take pride in their community and show respect for those who have served in our armed forces. Anyone who wants to talk to Veterans is encouraged to join, come once or every time, we welcome all. Please contact us to coordinate. Dates available on our calendar page.

If you are a veteran or if you would like to sponsor a veteran to have their tile added to our wall you can do so by filling out an application. The veteran does not need to be deceased to be added and all proceeds go to helping the veterans in our community via the Veteran Relief Fund.
