Post member Gina Burke is known at the post for her delicious home cooking. When she visited the Palomar Student Center and learned about the high rates of students with lack of stable housing, she decided to help by providing home cooked meals once a month to nurture their bodies and minds. She makes sure to give students a full stomach providing multiple entrees, sides, salads, veggies, and dessert. She started her project February 2018. Post and Auxiliary members help her with the prep work the night before and delivery the day of.
